At Story House Egmont, we aim to reduce our climate footprint. We have committed ourselves to setting goals in line with the Paris Agreement towards a reduction across all business areas by 2030.

We have set a target aiming to reduce 33% emissions for our current reporting areas by 2030. This target spans all our business areas and allows us to focus our efforts, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor our progress effectively.

We’ve established cross-functional workgroups tasked with exploring reduction potentials for all our emission hotspots. The work involves refining our current GHG emission calculations for Printed Products, Packaging, Toys and Transportation, analysing our suppliers’ targets and initiatives, as well as identifying and sharing potential initiatives to reduce GHG emissions across businesses by 2030.

From product design and procurement to shipping and returns, every step offers opportunities for sustainability improvements. Our e-commerce companies work on integrating sustainability across operations and supply chains, emphasising good partnerships and green energy.
